How guides differ from knowledge base articles
A knowledge base article answers one question, like how to send mail from a contact form. A guide strings several of those tasks together in the right order and explains the decisions along the way, such as which plan fits, when to switch DNS, and what to test before you go live.

Hosting Guides questions
What is web hosting and how does it work?
Web hosting stores your website's files on a server connected to the internet. When someone visits your domain, the server sends those files to their browser.
How do I choose a web hosting provider?
Compare what each plan includes (number of sites, email accounts, backups, and SSL), which support channels you get, what the plan renews at, and the provider's refund policy. The first-term price alone won't tell you what you'll pay over a few years.
What is the difference between shared, cloud and reseller hosting?
Shared hosting is one account on a server shared with other customers. Cloud hosting draws on a pool of resources that can grow with your site. Reseller hosting lets you create separate hosting accounts and sell them to your own clients.
Web hosting vs domain: what is the difference?
The domain is your site's address, like yourbusiness.com. Hosting is where the website's files live. You need both, and they can come from different providers. Our guide on web hosting vs domain names goes into more detail.
